Slow day at Millville

Hardline is out at Spring Creek Motocross Park for the 8th stop on the Pro Nationals. Press day was a slow one today as the rain came in light at first and started to pour.  Amateur practice was able to get some laps in earlier in the morning until around 1pm when the track got way to muddy.  Subsequently the pro's didn't go out and ride.  However a few riders were around for interviews including the Martin brothers and Ryan Dungey.

The weather certainly put a stop to things going on around the facilities like the pit bike race and motocross track building competition will be pushed back until tomorrow.  It looks like tomorrow will be a dry day for the amateur racing to get underway.  In the meantime everyone was playing in the rain including using some of the jumps on the track for a little mudslide and a quick dip in the creek to clean off.

The day ended with some muddy shoes and wet clothes.  The Martin brothers looked to be in a great mood being home for the week and going out for a bike ride once the rain died down.  We will be covering the amateur racing Friday and the Pro racing on Saturday so stay tuned!
