2018 Loretta Lynn's Area Qualifier & Regional Championship Schedule || HardlineMX

As the 2017 season comes to an end, people are getting ready for 2018. MX Sports announced the Rocky Mountain ATV/MC AMA Amateur National Motocross Championship presented by Lucas Oil 2018 Area Qualifier and Regional Championship schedule. With having our usual area qualifier at Little Falls Raceway in Little Falls, MN and the Amateur regional returning to Spring Creek MX in Millville for the second year. Check out the North Central region and full schedule below.

The qualifying program takes place in 35 different states throughout the country, starting with the 58 Area Qualifiers that will begin mid-February and run through the end of May. The 13 Regional Championships will run in eight major geographical regions throughout the United States, taking place in late May and through the month of June.

The Area Qualifiers serve as the first step in qualifying for the world's largest and most prestigious amateur motocross championship. The Regional Championships serve as the next step to seed riders into the National Championship. Only riders who finish in a qualifying position at a Regional Championship are eligible to race the National the week of July 30 through August 4.

Loretta Lynn's 2016 || Monday Quick Check

Now finally in Tennessee, we had a chance to get out to the track to get some shots in for the final set of practices, when, Mother nature put on an entirely different type of show for us. With over an 2 inches of rain reported in the area, we expect the 1st motos to be one hell of a mess for many of the first motos.

We were hoping to catch some of the last practices with the 50cc class, when not long after the 1st group set out, gail force winds, and heavy rain took over the show. We took cover, and sadly, with people battening down the hatches, or leaving for their respective hotels, we had to abort some of our other plans for the end of the day Monday.

Keep tuned to HardlineMX for our coverage from the ranch. We hope to have some good shots / footage from this year’s amateur national.
