6-06-2015 Megacross Photo Report

This past Saturday Megacross round 3 was underway.  The Midwest has been having a rough time with the weather this spring and the season already flying by.  Megacross has been evolving since the end of last year to add some new twists to the track. There is now a very interesting sand section before the finish and a triple added to the back along with some minor shifts in turns to create a better flow. Things are coming along nicely out there and the riders are enjoying some fresh updates to the track.

July 24th and 25th the 28th annual Lake County Fair race was underway in Grayslake IL.  Every year around this time riders from all over make their way to the fair for some great racing action.  Schaefer tracks always puts together a great track in the confined space available for some great speed and excitment for the fans and fair goers to come specate.  As well as a great track for the riders to be competive and have some fun out there.

Megacross Round 2!

This past Saturday started off Megacross round 2.  The weather was terrible all week, and today was no exception with rain plaguing the area.  On my way to the track it was raining out, but not terribly bad and Megacross doesnt close down for some sprinkles.  Opon arrival the track was looking mint, it wasnt muddy at all, just needed to wait the rain out for a little bit and races were on.  Just walking across the track I could tell it was in perfect shape, and talking to some of the riders confirmed it.  It was great night of racing with Kyle White back for his first race from his broken leg in the last round of Arenacross to give Maxx Malatia a run for his money.
