Arenacross 2014 Schedule Announced

Today Amsoil Arenacross announced the new schedule for 2014.  It is quite the departure from last season adding a few new rounds and a bunch of new cities.  Everyone will always have their views on the cities that get picked, but you can count on it being a great series this upcoming year!  With the addition of Ricky Carmichaels Road to Supercross we should see a lot more competition moving up through the ranks.  As well all the steps being taken last year to get live coverage and better television time slots, we will be looking forward to better things to come!  You can check out the new schedule by clicking here!

Megacross Race Report

Saturday the 17th of July Megacross kicked off round 5 of some great District 17 racing.   The track has been changed around a bit since everyone was here last mainly in the back section.  Some off camber jumps were added, some whoop replaced with a table top and some of the tabletops stretched out a bit made more for some great additions to an already great facility.  The racing was great as ever with Travis Sewell making an appearance with a break in the nationals this weekend certainly spiced things up as well.

Sunset Ridge LLQ in the Books

Nick Inman

This past weekend Rider from all over the county and even from out of the county (Canada) ascended on Walnut Illinois for the Sunset Ridge MX Loretta Lynn Qualifier. Practice on Friday was packed with over 500 riders getting in some finally laps before the weekend started.  Saturday was an extremely packed day with over 700 riders and 29 motos. A majority of the motos were so packed they ran two first motos taking the top 18 with an LCQ taking the top 6 for the finally moto packing every gate 42 wide.  Sunday was MOD classes with a slightly less strenuous program, but the action certainly was not lacking.

Arenacross Round 6 - Wilkes-Barre

Opening Ceremonies Saturday night

This past weekend kicked off round 6 of AMSOIL Arenacross in Wilkes-Barre Pennsylvania. It was certainly an interesting weekend partly because of the huge snow storm coming through town. Friday night it snowed hard getting about 8 inches on the ground.  This was nothing in comparison to further east, but it certainly made the turn out for Fridays race suffer.

Great Arena!

This past weekend kicked off round 4 of AMSOIL Arenacross in Tulsa Oklahoma. Being only a one night event made my running around 10 fold. Trying to find all the angles, the fast ways to get around the arena, planning the day out ect.
